Cheese Ball

Cheese Balls are great for parties OR an appetizer before dinner when entertaining.

Several kinds of cheese, Worcestershire sauce, spices and pecans give this cheese ball a lot of delicious goodness!


10 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

8 oz. jar jalapeno pepper Cheez Whiz (or regular if you prefer)

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)

1 Tbs. mayonnaise

1/2 c. onion (finely minced)

1 Bell pepper (finely chopped)

1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. chili powder

1 tsp. garlic salt

1 tsp. chopped chives (optional)

1 c. pecans (finely chopped)

Combine all ingredients, except pecans and beat with mixer on medium speed (or use food processor).

Beat until smooth. Chill 2 hours.

Shape into a ball and roll in pecans.  Serve with crackers.
