Lemon Bars

These Lemon Bars are scrumptious!

The mixture of lemon and sugar is mouth-watering.



1 c. flour (all purpose)

1/2 c. butter (softened)

1/4 c. confectioners sugar

2 eggs (beaten)

1 c. sugar

2 Tbs. lemon juice

1 tsp. lemon rind

Combine flour, butter and confectioner’s sugar.  Mix thoroughly.  Spread in 9 x9 pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.  Meanwhile mix eggs, sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind.  Spread over first layer and return to oven for 25 minutes.  When cool, frost with glaze and cut into squares.


1/2 c. confectioner’s sugar

1 tsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. water

Combine and stir into smooth consistency.  Spread over dish.
