This recipe for Green Pepper Jelly is milder than most!
It is delicious served on crackers with cream cheese! Great appetizer!
6 medium Bell peppers (seeded and cut into pieces)
3/4 cider vinegar
2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 3/4 oz. powdered fruit pectin
1 1/2 c. sugar
Process Bell Peppers and Jalapeno in food processor until finely chopped. Drain any liquid.
Add finely chopped peppers to large saucepan. Add vinegar and pectin.
Bring to hard boil over high heat stirring constantly. Stir in sugar. Bring to full rolling boil for 1 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Skim foam. Stir and skim again. Repeat one more time. Let cool for a few minutes. Stir well again and pour into sterilized jars. Close tightly and invert for a few minutes. Then turn back upright.
Serve on crackers with cream cheese.
